يهدف هذا البحث إلى دراسة منظور التربية الوالدية الإسلامية استنادا إلى سورة التحريم الآية 6 كحل لاهوتي نفسي للتخفيف من آثار التربية الوالدية السامة (toxic parenting) على الطفل. والمنهج المستخدم في هذا البحث هو المنهج الكيفي الوصفي التحليلي مع الاعتماد على أسلوب الدراسة المكتبية (library research). وتتمثل طريقة التفسير المطبقة في المنهج الموضوعي لجمع الآيات والروايات وتفاسير المفسرين، ثم مواءمتها ومزامنتها مع نظريات علم النفس الحديث المتعلقة بالتربية الوالدية السامة من خلال تحليل المحتوى (content analysis). وأظهرت نتائج البحث أن سورة التحريم الآية 6 لا تقتصر على الأمر المعياري فحسب، بل إنها تحظر بشكل أساسي وجذري كل أشكال التربية التدميرية (الوالدية السامة) التي تفسد فطرة الطفل. ويصنف الفشل في الحفاظ على الصحة النفسية والعقلية للطفل كشكل من أشكال خيانة أمانة الله. وتكمن أصالة هذا البحث (novelty) في إعادة بناء المعنى الباطني لآيات التفسير الكلاسيكي وسياقتها في شكل تفكيك لصدمات التربية المتوارثة بين الأجيال. وتتطلب الآثار المترتبة على هذا البحث تغييرا في نموذج التربية الوالدية من نمط التحكم السلطوي إلى نمط التواصل العاطفي القائم على الترقيق (الأنموذج اللين) مثل قدوة لقمان الحكيم. ويقدم هذا البحث خارطة طريق علاجية للآباء للقيام بإعادة تأهيل السلوك النفسي الذاتي قبل تطبيق تعليم الشريعة الرسمي على الطفل.
